Something more sinsister?

2 Sinister facts about Jeffrey Dahmer

Fact 1: The Luck From the devil

There has been a very large amount of superstitions around the unlucky number 13, as we know, two of them being Friday the 13th and buildings having a 13th floor. There has been one extremely bizarre superstition that some people believe is called Devil's Luck and if this is true then it in itself will apply to Jeffrey Dahmer himself. An old legend says that if you have exactly 13 letters in your name than you will suffer from “devil’s luck”. Conspiracy theorists even go a step further into this and speculate that most murderers have 13 letters in their names in which Jeffrey Dahmer definitely does. It is very intriguing when you consider other infamous serial killers such as Charles Manson, Aileen Wuornos, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Theodore Bundy, Alberto DeSalvo and Jack the Ripper who all have 13 letters in their names, but then again Joel Rifkin, David Berkowitz and Ed Gein do not have 13 letter names. It is a very spooky, kooky and interesting superstition but very interesting considering that Jeffrey Dahmer lived in apartment 13.

Fact 2: An Exorcist Connection

The Exorcist

Many have thought that Jeffrey Dahmer had a connection with The Exorcist. His favourite movies of all time were the three films in The Exorcist franchise (how creepy). One of Jeffrey’s almost victims, Tracy Edwards, who escaped and turned him into the police, said that after Jeffrey handcuffed him the pair sat on the edge of the bed and watched The Exorcist III, and that Dahmer was chanting whilst rocking backwards and forwards in a trance like state. It is in this moment  when Tracy Edwards hit Dahmer over the head and escaped running straight to the police.  Dahmer and The Exorcist movies have way more in common then Jeffrey simply being a huge fan of them. For example; like in The Exorcist III, Dahmer killed near a catholic university (Marquette in Wisconsin) and in The Exorcist III, the Exorcist killed near Georgetown in Washington D.C. Another example of how the movie series and Dahmer are the same is in the fact that they both killed 17 people (creepy right?). Jeffrey Dahmer said himself that he felt the killer in the movie was driven by evil, and he could relate to that because he also felt he was driven by Evil. Dahmer had bought a video cassette of the movies and he watched them about two to three times in one week for a solid six months. No matter how much Jeffrey Dahmer is like the killer in The Exorcist Series, it is still very eerie and disturbing that they both had the magic number 17 as their amount of killings. There is no possible way that Jeffrey Dahmer could have planned this, and it is a known fact that if he could of, Jeffrey would of Killed again.
